Lori: Gary, it there something that you’ve been thinking about this week?

Gary: Ah, well, more, perhaps more than thinking about. I’ve been in the process of building what’s called a kick wall for an indoor riding ring. It’s the first one I’ve ever built and I’m having a bit of a struggle with it.

Lori: It’s not going as easily as you thought?

Gary: Ah, anything I do for the first time hardly ever goes as easily as I thought.

Lori: More thoughts about that?

Gary: Ah, not really. It’s just been a struggle. As an example, today I was trying to do a corner which is a 45-degree angle and I was trying to cut a board so that it would match up with the other section and I must have spent an hour trying to cut the angle correctly and still haven’t succeeded. Got frustrated and left for the day.

Lori: Something different that you could do?

Gary: Ah, perhaps have someone else help me.

Lori: Would that be a possibility?

Gary: Ah, yes it would. I’ve got a friend who’s offered to help me in the past. However, upon thinking about it further, I figured out a way I could do it myself, which I’ll attempt tomorrow.

Lori: Any other approach that you would want to consider?

Gary: No, I think what I have planned for tomorrow will work just fine.

Lori: Great. Sounds like you’re well on your way to accomplishing this.

Gary: I sure hope so.
